The first part of the challenge is designed to give participants some basic knowledge on how to make their business more attractive to investors. Those who register for the challenge will attend day-long seminars throughout New Zealand, where local experts will advise you on how to develop your business proposition and give guidance on such areas as tax, governance, IP, and internationalisation.

We launched business.govt.nz on 15 August 2007 and this month we celebrate our first birthday. In that time more than 300,000 visitors have made over 403,000 visits to the site – they tell us they see business.govt.nz as a trusted source of business information. It’s been an exciting 12 months and we’re looking forward to developing the site even more over the coming year.
